My worship pastor was very anxious to upgrade to Pro 7 as soon as it came out. I wasn't as enthused, but went along with it. Our original/largest campus utilizes 3 main screens along with confidence monitors. Our center screen is controlled separately from our 2 side/IMAG screens. Up until recently, we used two iMacs and the master/slave module to drive the screen graphics. Pro 7 has new features, one of which is the ability to drive multiple screens from the same machine using something Renewed Visions calls "Looks." Looks are a very cool idea.though the execution in setting them up can be cumbersome. Since Pro 7 does not yet support Master/Slave, we were required to utilize Looks to run all of our screens off one machine. Make no mistake, Pro 7 is impressive and powerful. The new workflow philosophy is a bit convoluted and is taking time to understand fully, however I think it has real potential once we get used to the "psychology" of all the various new layers and features that have been added. We are using powerful iMacs, so I don't fault the machines. We are in daily chats with Renewed Vision about multiple bugs/issues we are experiencing and to their credit they are very accessible and have even pushed out updates based on our crash reports. #PROPRESENTER 6 FEATURES UPGRADE#īut I just can't recommend anyone upgrade at this time.
